The following is a prayer by a Malawian brother. His audio prayer is above in the Chichewa language of Malawi.
Our heavenly Father we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
We thank you that you are the God who created all peoples on earth. Lord, your passion is for all peoples to know, love and worship you.
We thank you for the privilege of knowing you here in Malawi. But, our worry now is for those who don't know you yet, especially those who reside in the 10/40.
The following prayer is prayed by Aasim.
Lord, I thank you that you are a merciful and gracious God. You shine the sun and send rain upon both the just and the unjust alike.
You love even those who don't know you and worship idols as gods, for your mercy endures forever. Your arms are always open to receive them as your prodigal son because there is no sin too great for you to forgive and its never too late even for the biggest sinner to come to you.
Day laborers in South Asia. They are a wonderful, hardworking group of people numbered in the millions who are often overlooked, underpaid, and regarded as the lesser within society.
Many have families whom they have left behind at their rural homes to find work in the larger cities. Some bring their families with them in two. But, no matter their individual circumstance, to say their life is challenging is a gross understatement.
They are the backbone of economic success across South Asia. Without them, the middle and upper classes would not enjoy their lifestyles as much as they like to think. Why? Because the day laborers are the ones who clean the streets, clean the homes of the wealthy, work in jobs that pay minimally, dive into sewer pits to clean out our crap….literally, and do all the jobs most of us would not be caught dead doing. South Asia desperately needs these workers yet they are the ones most negatively affected when a crisis hits, like COVID-19.
May the Lord open the hearts and minds of the Muslim people. I pray that the love of God reaches their hearts and their lives. May they dream dreams of you Jesus, see visions, and the Word of God in their dreams.
I pray for the hearts of Muslims in Central Asia to be opened for the Gospel. May they have a revelation of the blood of Jesus and understand that their sins are forgiven. May the enlightenment come to them.
Many people are fasting and praying for them now that You will be revealed to them! As God opened the heart of Lydia of Thyatira so their hearts will be opened.
May the Lord remove every obstacle between Him and them and the love of God melt their hearts.
And we will see the glory of God!

Prayer prayed by a Muslim Background Believer in India
Hello everyone, I am calling out to you to join with me and pray for Muslims in India.
Loving God, I am praying for Muslims during this month of Ramadan. Lord, you are loving to all lost peoples so I am praying for them. Every morning to evening, they will fast for the next 3 0days so I am praying for all Muslim communities where they are living in the world and especially for those in Delhi and India.
Dear heavenly Father, I praise and thank you in the name of Jesus Christ.
I praise you because you have created heaven and the earth, and you have created humankind in your own image. I thank you for your great plan for humankind. You have send Jesus Christ who has forgiven all the sins from the cross. I know that Jesus Christ has forgiven all sins and iniquities of humankind.
I thank you for all the good works that you have done for humankind and open the way to God. I thank you that Jesus Christ took all the sins, died on the cross, and rose from the death.
Ramadan 2020 began last night. As they pray, we want to pray for them. Periodically over the next month, we will highlight a Muslim people group (or Muslims in a specific country/region) and we ask that you join with us in prayer for them. To begin, we are highlighting a people group close to our hearts, the Hui in China.
The following is a translated prayer focused on the Hui (回族) of China. The person praying in the audio is a Hui Jesus follower. The Hui people is a Muslim people group originating in China comprising of approximately 15 million people. Last checked, there were just a few thousand Jesus followers and maybe a few known Hui based house churches. Other than that, they are predominantly Muslim.
Please join with us in prayer for the Hui people of China.
Praise reports, updates, and just about anything important that is written by someone within our global Silk Road Catalyst family.
