Prayer for the Hui of China

Ramadan 2020 began last night. As they pray, we want to pray for them. Periodically over the next month, we will highlight a Muslim people group (or Muslims in a specific country/region) and we ask that you join with us in prayer for them. To begin, we are highlighting a people group close to our hearts, the Hui in China. 

The following is a translated prayer focused on the Hui (回族) of China. The person praying in the audio is a Hui Jesus follower. The Hui people is a Muslim people group originating in China comprising of approximately 15 million people. Last checked, there were just a few thousand Jesus followers and maybe a few known Hui based house churches. Other than that, they are predominantly Muslim. 

Please join with us in prayer for the Hui people of China.

Heavenly Father I praise and thank you.

Thank you for creating this beautiful world, the blue sky, white clouds, the sun, the moon, the seas, and mountains. In this world, you created us and put us here. We thank you, not only because you created our flesh, but you also gave us an eternal spirit (to Jesus followers).

According to what Jesus has done on the cross, we can now come to you without fear. There is no other name given under heaven (to save) but Jesus our Savior. Only Jesus can clean our sins away.

Lord, we praise and thank you. Lord, as we look back on our human history and what we gained from nature, greedily between us, it is just full of murder and jealousy of each other.

Only you God can do the good in this world. When we got to know you, we know what is truly good. Lord, I praise and thank you.

Today I specifically lift up my people group to you, the Hui of China. What Jesus did on the cross is not only for the Jews but also for the Gentiles, not only for Middle East but also for Europeans, Asians, and China. You surely give yourself to each one of the people groups in China.

I lift up the Muslim Hui in China in your mighty hand, and pray for repentance of my people. God, you created us from dust. For what Jesus did on the cross, you desire to forgive us and accept us.

I also pray for the Muslim faith condition. Holy Spirit, you lead, reveal, and touch them. Lord use angles and Hui believers to help the Muslim Hui people to know Jesus. We deeply believe that there are no other name given but Jesus (to save mankind). You put your richness and intelligence in Christ.

God, we ask you to give this most high and precious gift (salvation in Christ) to my people, the Hui of China. May the Hui people accept this wonderful gift.

Accepting Jesus will beak and crush the chain of (this human) body, the chain of law. Holy Spirit, work on each one of the Hui people and give your eternal life to them.

Lord I praise and thank you. Use all your children and servants, including me, to share the Gospel with them. I ask for your mercy and love to pour out on them daily.  I ask these things in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.
