Silk Road Catalyst (SRC) is a non-denominational multi-national family of disciple-makers. We focus our efforts on proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and planting reproducible churches (house churches) among the following:
Silk Road Peoples, those who live in or are from the Silk Road Region (Asia and the Middle East).
Gospel Deprived Communities, those who have the least Gospel access. This refers to communities we initially enter into. While needs are everywhere, we strive to begin new work (for SRC) where national believers and foreign missionaries are not currently serving.
Having a Presence of Legitimacy
Having a Presence of Legitimacy is vital to our DNA. While our primary and most important objective is to make disciples, we believe the manner by which we enter a community where we desire to make disciples and plant churches is also important. Having legitimacy is not a failsafe strategy that guarantees fruitfulness or a persecution free environment but merely an honest approach to serving communities globally.

Our Mobilization Strategy
Our mobilization strategy is as diverse as our team. We are mobilizing in multiple countries, each with a different strategy. But overall, our mobilization strategy is to spend 80% of our time mobilizing in the Global South and 20% of our time in North America.
While God is still calling North Americans to go to mission fields where we focus our efforts, God is not simply calling Western believers to go. He has called His whole Church to go to the whole world. As our President likes to say, "The Great Commission will not be fulfilled from the WEST to the REST but from the REACHED to the UNREACHED". It will take a global Church effort to get the Gospel to the whole world.
For us at SRC, God has impressed on us to spend the bulk of our mobilization efforts in the Global South, while not forsaking the USA where SRC is headquartered.
SRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization/corporation in the USA. We are incorporated in the State of Texas as a non-profit with our principle office in Spartanburg, SC.
