Areas to Give
GENERAL FUND / AS NEEDED
Click here to support the overall ministry of Silk Road Catalyst. Donations given to the General Fund will be used where they are most needed. Areas include supporting our administrative, office and support staff, covering necessary administrative expenses which is necessary to provide the platform our missionaries serve by, to give us the ability to receive, distribute, and steward funds for ministry purposes, and to provide resources for ministry needs where allocated (restricted) funds are insufficient to cover expenses.
GLOBAL SOUTH MISSIONARy Fund (INCLUDES NATIONAL MISSIONARIES)
Click here to support our Global South Missionaries. This fund is used to offset salary as well as critical needs like medical insurance and global staff development like attending trainings and conferences for personal ministry development. By supporting our Global South Missionaries, you simultaneously support our ministry projects because our ministry projects do not move forward without our supported missionaries. And, given that Global South Missionaries have a more challenging time (not impossible) raising personal support than their western counterparts have, this fund exclusively serves our Global South Missionary staff to provide some relief in the area of personal and family support.
What is a Global South Missionary? We divide this group of people into two camps of people. The first being a group of foreign missionaries who are not from a Western country. They were born, raised and sent by their home church in places like Africa, Asia or Latin America and sent to serve in a foreign country. Examples include Chinese, Mexicans, and Indonesian Christians serving in a foreign to them country serving as a missionary in the same way an American is sent by their home church to a place like Asia or Africa. The second group of people under the Global South Missionary banner includes national missionaries. These are Christians serving in their home country in the area of planting new churches and serving Gospel-Deprived communities. What they are not are local pastors focusing their ministry on a single congregation. Those are national pastors, not national missionaries.
SILK ROAD FUND (ministry PROJECTS)
Click here to support the Silk Road Fund. This fund is specifically designed to support ministry projects in general, including trainings, outreach, bible distribution, emergency relief efforts and all projects deemed necessary to end gospel deprivation.
