Three years ago, Adam* gave a Bible to a Muslim gentleman he met in a village. This guy had no interest in it but accepted it as a gift, probably to save Adam’s face. He returned home with no intention of reading it and, for some reason, gave the Bible to his wife. She read it and was intrigued. She then began to ask her husband about it, which sparked his curiosity, so he decided to begin reading it with her. Questions developed as they read together so they reached out to Adam to find help answering their questions. This began a back and forth for three years ultimately leading to their reconciliation with God and baptism a few months ago.
This couple is one example of nearly 800 people who have given their lives to Christ in 2020 through the work of Silk Road Catalyst missionaries. Thank you so much for partnering alongside us to serve the Gospel-Deprived across Asia with your prayers and support. Adam is a South Asian and one of our missionaries.
