Let me share about the type of people we seek to serve. Not long ago, Isaac* was strolling down the road where he noticed a man screaming, talking to himself, and laughing. Everyone who walked by him avoided him like he had the plague. But for Isaac, he invited him to have tea. As they shared a cup of tea together, Isaac learned how the pandemic affected this man’s life. Before COVID, he had a job, family, and a home. Through multiple lockdowns, he lost his job, began to drink, lost his family, became homeless, and his mental health became dire. As they continued conversing, Isaac took every opportunity to share the Gospel. This man did not become a believer in the moment but he listened intently. Afterward, he acknowledged that he began to feel differently after talking with Isaac and hearing the Gospel. As such, Isaac offered to remain in contact, meet with him regularly, and committed to pray for him. Isaac is living and serving in the trenches, engaging with people who are in difficult situations and in places where the Gospel is often attacked by radicals and/or the government. Please pray for Isaac and the rest of our missionaries as they seek to deliver the Gospel to those who lack access to it. * Names changed to protect the identify of our missionaries and partners
