Attacks are on the rise against Christians in South Asia. Yet despite this reality, Amos* takes every opportunity to share the Gospel because the need to deliver the Gospel to those without access far outweighs his own safety. Back in July, Amos met Sharma. Sharma comes from a strong and dedicated Hindu family. His family has strong ties to the local temples. Knowing the reality taking place in his country, Amos met Sharma and shared the Gospel while Sharma was doing work at Amos’ home. Rather than pushing back, Sharma’s interest peaked. They began spending time together and eventually Amos led Sharma to Christ. And, this was no small decision. Sharma leaving his Hindu heritage has every potential to spark outrage by his family and former religious community. This outrage can come against Sharma as well as toward Amos. Yet, the ability for one to face these kinds of potential dangers only shows how power the Gospel is. Our vision at SRC is “Gospel Access for Everyone”. This vision is not just about simply giving access but about making disciples who multiply. To believe the Gospel, one must have both access and someone to share it. Today, 2.1 billion (and increasing) have never heard the Gospel because they lack simple access. This is why I invite you to get involved. You can join our new global prayer network, give so our missionaries can pay bills, and go and be the one doing the actual delivering. Regardless of how you get involved, let’s work in tandem so everyone has Gospel access.
